HireCopilot fixes this by syncing from your email: your applications, statuses, and resume links stay in one place, no spreadsheets or manual logging. We're not asking you to change how you apply; we're your personal job search assistant so you can focus on applications and interviews.
HireCopilot connects to your email (Gmail for now but other email providers soon) with your permission. We scan your inbox for hiring-related messages: confirmations when you apply, replies from recruiters, interview invites, and rejections. Our system automatically extracts company name, job title, and status, then builds and updates your application list in the dashboard. You don’t have to manually log each application; we keep everything in sync so you can focus on applying and preparing for interviews.
Yes. We only access the permissions you grant (read access to email) and use them to identify job-related messages. We do not sell your data. Your information is used to provide and improve the tracking service, and we follow industry practices to keep it secure. Uploading resumes lets you keep different versions (e.g. by role or company) in one place. Linking a resume to an application records which version you used for that job, so you can quickly see what you sent and stay consistent for follow-ups or future applications to the same company. It also makes it easier to prepare for interviews by reviewing the exact resume the employer has. We can also provide analytics on resume performance based on the resume used for different applications, so you can see which versions lead to more interviews or offers.
